power options
recently after installing Linux SuSE as a dual boot with 2K on my laptop i am having a few problems with the power options that i never had before
BTW these only occur when i am in 2K
1) when i select shutdown it closes all of the connections and such and then when that box dissapears the system just sits there and doesn't turn the power off
2) when i select reboot it does exactly the same
3) when i had hibernate on and i selected this, it hard rebooted my computer instantly
does anyone have any idea what is causing this and how i can fix it without re-installing 2K or removing Linux ??
Cheers

have you looked all over the power control panel and clicked a few things to try different settings?

yeah i can't see why that would do that either, but that is when all of the problems started
and yes i have checked all of the power settings and changed things but nothing seems to work, i am doing a windows update as we speak so i will see if that works in a little while
