Web site news posting component! And site plug!! :)

Anyone want to check out my news posting dll for ASP .NET? All you have to do is add a couple line to your asp .net page and all you have to do to update news on you web page is edit an xml file.

you can see it running at

    http://www.vegaware.com/index.aspx

if the site doesnt come up, it just means dns servers havent updated for your isp yet(This domain is only 24 hours old). Try again later

anyway tell me how it looks and please give me ideas and input of what features you would like for it..

As you can see, you can specify the date for the news, an image representing the news poster, and of course the news.

Let me know what you guys think.

It looks good. How did you make it, and when will it (maybe) be available to download?

Actually it is my real job that is keeping me busy. I have just been working on my web site a little at a time when I have a free moment. It was 4 months befoore I got up what is up now..

Here is all the source. Just compile the .cs file to a dll, put in your websites bin folder. Use the included xml file and just change it accordingly. look at inde.aspx to see example of how to use it.

I really have no clue. I dont use brinnkster anymore because they suck weiner..90% of the free sites there still dont work..

But I use a full pay site with another company and I just manually upload the dll to the bin directory.
