I want to make a .NFO viewer, why?
When you open a nfo file with strange characters in a dosbox, it will produce a nice picture, but when I open a .nfo in Notepad, it's all garbled text. Is there a way to make the NFO look excactely the same as in a dosbox? Thanks for any help!

I think nfo files are ansi files. They have ansi graphics in them. You could try to find a source for a ansi coder/decoder or some info on ansi graphics.

Jop, you can find a NFO viewer written in VB at http://www.geocities.com/gnome4all ... I use it aswell, it's quite nice.
