ASP.NET or old ASP. ASP.NET's WebForms stink, so PHP would be better.

    Get these: Mozilla Opera OpenBSD
I have books for sale: "MCSD in a Nutshell" and "VB Distributed Exam Cram" - PM me for details. Will also trade for a decent ATX Pentium 2 MB/CPU/RAM combo.

ASP can run Apache if you have something called ____ from Chilisoft...but of course who'd want to pay for that when you've got PHP

one of my friends was saying that PHP is faster in database stuff, is it right?

PHP works well with mySQL, but while mySQL is one of the fastest and easiest dbs out there, it's also one of the least featurefull.

*uses the mention of SQL to his advantage* where would be the best place to go to learn how to use it? Recommend any tutorials or example sites out there?
