Anyone want to try out my zip utility I am working on? So far you can open and view the contents of a zip file and extract the entire file to a directory.. Suggestions/bugs(which I am sure there are plenty) please let me know. Source and binaries included. It uses the NZip library from icsharpcode.net and the dll is included in the zip. You can get the source for the dll at icsharpcode.net..I say this because it is GPL'ed..

were you high when you tried it?

1. runs fine
2. opens a zip file fine
3. unzips all the files right (the browseforfolder looks fine)

conclusion: nice n dandy

I may have been high!! Oh well, Ill have to look up why it does that on my 2000 machine..

i got winXP and i dont have the file box pop up, just the buttons.

as far as advice how about a menu bar with some options there.

hmm..wonder what cause that? perhaps a fubared component..Thinking about it, it could be.

A) .NET without SP1
B) not using mdac 2.7(I didnt isntall this one my 2000 machine)


Probably one of those 2 things. Ill have to experiment.


As far as a menu bar, ill add that once I have enough operations to do in the program to warrant a menu.
