    I've been reading all I can about subclassing, but almost all of the examples show how to subclass a form you own. I'm trying to subclass an event from a window in another process, but I haven't been able to figure out how to accomplish this.

    1.) Can anyone point me to some example code for subclassing a window in someone else's process?

    2.) I've got the O'Reilly VB API book on order, but in the meantime are there any *really* good tutorials that explain in detail the way the whole subclassing process works, in plain English?

    Thanks all,

    When you subclass, you pass the form handle as the first argument with setwindowlong. You just have to pass the foreign hwnd instead.
    Use
    writing software in C++ is like driving rivets into steel beam with a toothpick.
    writing haskell makes your life easier:
    reverse (p (6*9)) where p x|x==0=""|True=chr (48+z): p y where (y,z)=divMod x 13
    To throw away OOP for low level languages is myopia, to keep OOP is hyperopia. To throw away OOP for a high level language is insight.
