Can you make your mates explode using monitors?

Anyone know if you can use old monitors to make your mates explode?

In college, using the old green screens, we used to wheel ourselves around, not touching the floor with our feet, and collect the static from about 10 machines!

Then we would go up to an unsuspecting mate, bearing in mind we are in the middle of a lecture, and give him the shock to end all shocks!

So, bearing this in mind, how many monitors would I need to fry the guy?

I'm not psycho or anything, but theres this one guy in work wth really static hair and I thought.....

You can make your mates monitor explode. Just set the refresh rate to an insane amount and let it run. BOOOM!

Well, it is a theoretical question, as I don't think there are enough monitors in the office - more of a 'what if??'

He doesn't know - funnier that way!!

The amount of static you would need is equal to your friend's mass divided by the number of monitors times 7.654.
