CPU Usage
I have noticed that when i am using my database, the CPU usage on the database is runnign at 100%. I have split the database but still get the same problem.
Any ideas what this could be ?

Hi
WHich database you are using? DBase is using 100%
Access-MDB is using not so much resources.
It depends always on the Database itself. DBase don't allow package-splitting, that is one of the reasons that the network administrators don't like them. SQL is the best until now.

Hi
I play the last days a little with the CPU-usage around and found out that many times the CPU is on 100%.
Interesting is when i stop the Schudle Manager then it goes down. But only after reboot.
I just checked and you are right. Access use all recources from the CPU. What a s... program, hehe
I would write Microsoft a email and ask why this happens.
One reason more to use a other prog as access.
I checked now Word, the same problem, Excel don't use the CPu so much.
