Thread: How do you know if the printer is busy printing your previous document?

    My program uses Word to print multiple documents. It all works fine when just saving the documents, but if I have it print each one, it says the printer is busy (with an OK button) and eventually returns Error 5142. How can I screen for the "printer busy" box and have it wait until that job is done?
