    Win2K : Turn on Auto-completion !

    For those who love the unix Tab completion, the sweet news is..
    win2k's cmd.exe supports auto-completion of file and folder names (but is disabled by default).

    Just download the zipped registry(*.reg) file and double click on it.

    Next time when you open a dos console,

    just type the initial characters of the filename and press Ctrl + D or Ctrl + F to autocomplete the name.

    Example:

    cd win{now press ctrl+D}

    you will get WINNT completed .

    For those who are paranoid...

    *.reg files are clear text files. You can open them in notepad and see what's in them.
