Am I missing winsock?

I saw a thread on the forum that told how to email directly. The code included a reference to MSWinsock.

But when I clicked my References..., I couldn't find that anywhere.

I have VB6 as part of Visual Studio 2000

Of course I have the Winsock.dll in Windows98

So, what am i missing?

you should go to components
then
go check microsoft winsock control.....somewhere near the end of 'm'

You can browse for the reference, jsut click Browse, goto your System(32) folder, and select *.ocx from the " Files of Type" box. Then you can choose the MSWINSCK.OCX.
