    Justin - clocking my Radeon 8500 :D

So here we are in GPC...

I put it to 270, and ran it again, getting 6236

Since this is about the ATi 8500 could I sneak a quick question in? Would you get higher scores with a 8500 128mb rather then a 64 if so by how much?

No, not really. 128MB is largely hype, although it has use in the GF4 Ti cards.

I just restarted and it's now running off just one port, before it was mirroring it on both of the monitors I had (one off the DVI port).

    On the laptop now

    Hehe...that'd make a difference!

At 270 did it still look funny in Nature?

    Card 270/540.
    FSB 140

Memory: Single Crucial PC2100 CAS 2.5 512mb DDR DIMM.

I didn't try taking it higher but it would let me.

You tried raising your voltages, right?

Here's my Overclocking tutorial on TT

    I saw that before.

Not tried doing the voltages yet, it seems stable so far. Downloaded PCMark2002 to test general stability (since I did the FSB).

No, the Seagate one does basically the same as yours

I checked and that IBM one is rated at about 8mb/sec (And this is on the IBM site as well!)

Anyway........it works so it'll do for now! (TBH, I never really noticed it that much, since the swap was always on the Seagate one)
