Forum Size
Hey,
I am currently running at 1024 x 768 screen res (and that's all I can go up to). When in a thread I have to use the bottom scroll bar to scroll through the messages. I was wondering if it would be possible to make the table 100% then make the left column a specific size in pixels.
Well that is the only thing I not liking about this forum, everything else is great keep up the good work.

Somebody posted this:
Function myInStrRev(strStringToSearch As String, strFind As String, Size as ArraySize, Optional iStart As Long) As Long
With the [Highlight=VB] tag, it won't wrap spaces, so the table just keeps going until the line breaks.

Jamie, I will not tolerate your flaming any more. I am as free an individual as anybody else on these forums, have been here a full two years longer than you, and have helped many people and have earned my place here.
I have tried to reason with you and asked you to refrain from flaming, or at the very least limit it to the private domain. I don't particurally care what you think of my sexual orientation (which is straight anyway), what your opinion of my site is, or what your opinion of me is.
Administrating vBulletin has taught me even more responsibility, and I trust the mods to take the appropriate action, now that I have reported this post, several others, and have asked others to do the same.
Since the group of administrators here is a responsible and mature group of individuals, I'm sure they will take the best action. If memory serves, you were once banned before from VB Forums. I don't know Karl's new policies, but I for one don't think you should find them out this way.
Peace

For gods sake filburt grow up. You have flamed people here repeatedly (pogrammer tom? Smash the qube?). If you can't take it, don't give it (as my dear ole pappa would say!).
As for being here the longest etc. that is just pathetic, why do you think a length of membership should make any difference?
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I have nothing against you, you do seem like a nice young chap, but man you need to lighten up and be far less anal retentive.

I can only assume that question is directed at SurfDemon, as I couldn't give a flying **** whether you "flame" me or not.

It was directed not at SD but at you. I just fail to see why you seem to take such an offensive approach towards me when I have absolutely nothing against you.

Flubber, I don't have simply a reactive personality.
I'm a tad more complex than a bloody amoeba.
I don't care what you think about me.
To quote Thom Yorke, "With your opinion which is of no consequence at all"
Whether you hate me or not is completely irrelevant - I do what I do because I want to.
If you lived in britain or ireland, you wouldn't last ten minutes with your attitute.
You are completely socially retarded!

I am (Well, his ICQ list anyway!)
I think all of you need to grow up a bit, but Jamie is right.
You think this is intimidation, you haven't been bounced off a plate-glass window by someone a full foot taller than you, have you?

Well, isn't this a jolly ol' thread!?
None of you want my thoughts so I won't give them. OK stuff that, I will:
Filburt - you have many valid points. Spamming is unacceptable. So is personal insults. But to call it intimidation is taking it too far. I do, however, agree something needs to be done about the insults flying about these forums.
plenderj - you must admit, calling someone a "anally-retentive tech-*****" is bound to cause some reaction - otherwise, why would you have said it. Don't blame Filburt for reacting to what you said in a fashion which is quite natural for one who has had insults thrown at him and so obviously takes offence to them. If all you were going to do was mock any response from filburt, don't bother posting a commented to/about him in the first place.
Yes, yes, sticking my nose in where it's not really wanted, but this could so easily get out of hand...
