    Another proof that MS sucks...

    Just wanted to download the newest SDK from MSDN, got a "network error" twice during download...
    I ask myself, why can't I use my download manager to get those stupid files? Why have I got to use their stupid Installer?

    Anyone got an idea where I can get the SDK documentation beside MSDN? Maybe as a real file?

    That bothered me as well, when I tried to go get the latest Platform SDK. I dont actually want to install it on this computer, but I cant download it on the one I want. its a terrible way of dealing with developers =(.

    whats the current version? I have feb2001(can get from on parksie's hub at DC) and I can only find a txt file in the ftp where PSDK was before

    You can download the cab files for the PSDK off the microsoft website.

    If you go here...

    PSDK Update

    Click on Downloads->Full Download

    I don't know if you knew that or not...

    Thanks, that's what I did. But I want a place where I can use MY download manager (DAP) to dl the files, not the MS installer (it sucks and has failed twice already).

    You don't have to use the installer that is why I said go to Full Download instead of Install...
