I enjoy creating/editing (very) amateur videos. One thing I've wanted to do but don't have the cash for some $1000 program to do for me is a blue screen type effect. You know like the weather man uses to put himself in front of the map . Basically there's two overlying videos and if there's any blue on the first one, it becomes transparent and displays the second in that portion of it.
My question is this:
Can vb be used to modify/create .avi or other video formats (like .mpg)? If so how? Can you use code to find the color of each pixel in a frame and replace it with a new color if desired?
