    GForce2, good???

    I got an AMD 700MHz 256MB Ram and i play quake 800x600 under OpenGL with a GeForce2 the graphics are crap! my AMD 400 192MB Ram with VooDoo 3 3000 is way better??? why is every1 telling that GeForce2 is better?

    The GeForce 2 SHOULD be better. I have a TNT2 and Quake 3 looks pretty damn good on it. I play it at 1024x768 too. Maybe you don't have the right OpenGL driver selected?

    Is this a GeForce2 MX200? Those are pretty slow-- probably not a whole lot faster than your V3.

    Anything higher should look decent...

    Make sure your VIA drivers are installed...

    GeForce2 isn't really the latest card but it should run Q3 at 800x600 with no probs..
