Hi, I am working on a program that allows the user to select a set of fields from a database, the program then creates a report based on the fields selected. I was using crystal reports RDC to do this but I found out I would have to pay a royalty fee for every user that uses it. This is due to the fact that the report is created at runtime.
The fee is over $200 u.s. per user and there are over 400 people that will be using this.
Any ideas of how I can do this without using crystal reports??? I am currently looking into some microsoft
controls.

There is nothing you can do in Crystal Reports that you can't do with your own code, given enough time and money.
