Angry Note to self...keep backups, be careful

Well I was repartitioning my hard drive I was merging two partitions, one with my bootup files on it and one with all my MP3s

Meanwhile I was also transferring a 25 gig drive from another computer into the FireWire case I had.

Obviously my computer wasn't accessible so I wanted to use the AC adapter for the FireWire drive to hook it up and use it on another computer

Well turns out I pulled the plug for my computer instead now all my MP3s are f**ked, I have some backups, but not all are backed up and I'm restoring from a POS 20 gig TravelStar that's on its last legs

This thing is so slow since it's USB...I started restore 10 minutes ago and it just finished Alien Ant Farm

This is going to be a nightmare

But the good news is the FireWire drive works flawlessly, the 25 gig I threw in the case (although I probably won't be using it for my own use), and I have a new 80 gig internal

Yeah well it's on Beastie Boys now god this thing is slow

Oh yeah, and here's the kicker...after I'm all done, I STILL have to shut down, and merge the two partitions it won't take long obviously since there's nothing on the second partition but this is gonna suck.

    1600 is paltry compared to my parents' 7500 MP3s combined. That's 25GB.

It includes 300 Beatles songs and no I'm not kidding...I honestly didn't know they even made that many songs, never mind songs available for download.
