A newbie's attempt at a reasonably fun game: GemsNRocks

Hi all, if this was a radio i'd say "First time caller, long time listener".

For quite a while now, i've been working on a tile-based game i call GemsNRocks, it's not an original idea, there are many clones, and i don't even know what the original one was.

The basic aim of the game, is to collect the gems (the nicest looking things), whilst avoiding everything else (that move in various ways).

You use the arrowkeys to move.

That's the basics, but i suggest you read the readme first, for other important info.

I would like some constructive criticism, and ideas for new enemies/objects etc...

This is my first game that involves more that differently coloured shapes, so don't bite my legs of or anything.

Here is the editor for the game, and more levels, the more difficult/fun ones (just extract it into the same folder as GNR).

well when you beat a level and it asks to go to another level, i got a runtime error, you should try to make it so that when you extract it, it goes into a specified folder and you can load up the level of your choice

Oh dear, could you post up your gemsnrocks.ini file please?

P.S. To run a level you choose, either use the menu, or open the .GNR map file you want to play.
