    *Resolved* Real lame hard disk setup through Win 2k question...

    Virgin slave drive connected. Where in Win2k do you set it up, have forgotten

    Thought somewhere in system management, but can't seem to find it...

    I thought hard drives were configured through BIOS/CMOS?

    There's some disk manager doohickey that lets you make partitions, IIRC. If not grab a copy of PartitionMagic.

    Is all ready good to go on BIOS, now need to format and set in Win2k disk manager...pfft disk setup utilities, windows handles it okay...just need a pointer to where Win2k has got it hidden....

    you right click on My Computer and select Manage. You will get the screen Filbert has zipped - Disk Management.
