    Yeah. Found scat from what looked like a family set (sow and 2
    cubs) last august. Lots of moose....looked like a convention.
    Buncha grouse too....look like quail on serious steroids.

    Well, watch out for the bears. You should always attach small bells to your clothes and carry pepper spray to scare them off.

    You should also learn how to identify the various types of bear droppings.

    Young bears leave fist size pellets that contain undigested leaves etc.


    Where as the droppings from older bears smell of pepper, and have small bells in them.

    hmm you are going to be a little way from me, i am in thunder bay. Anyways, adult bear droppings always taste like ****. remember that it could save your life one day

    If you just went 1 or 2 cities down from North Bay you'd find the temperature more like -3 or -4.
