MP3 File list maker (Printable)
Almost everyone these days has mp3's saved to there hard drive,
cdr's,and everywhere else you can think of....I have over 1500
so I've created a list maker that prints or saves a text file.....
My question is would ths be useful and what kind of features would be the most useful?
Any input would be helpful...
My software never has bugs. It just develops random features.

Ideas...
Maybe you could...
-allow users to input comments about each song
-have info about the song in a database format, ie. complete/broken, length, size, location
-allow the user to view it in different formats, ie. single record, list, etc.
-make the database searchable

It's not a database It doesn't keep track of anything.....
It loops through a directory and creates a list.....
So far It's printable with titleand Can save a text file...
I've coded a MP3 player with some really nice features and I'm
thinking of incorporateing them together....

Make an update feature that would search the hard drive(s) for new songs, or updates on songs already in the DB (like locations). Also make it to where you can click the mp3 and automatically play.
Generate a playlist by searching for particular songs.
Save the playlists.
Great sorting abilities.
Ability to gather mp3s from all over the hard drive, then save them in the same folder in a hiearchial way.
Support multi users that use win 2000 or win xp so each user can use the features without messing with other users settings.

A database system with a player built in would be useful. What would be the point of just being able to print of a list of songs even with a couple sorting abilities? Now, if like the last poster said, it had the ability to search the harddrive and display it in hierchy form, it would be of some use.
