How often do you defrag? Remember, since Win2k is based off of the NT kernel, it fragments a LOT more then 9x, and you have to defrag MUCH more often (this is a possible source of problems).
Good question! I used to have my systems defrag weekly (and still had losts of W2K & XP problems) but with the problems with IBM hard disk drives http://www.theinquirer.net/08030205.htm I've not left the machines on to attend to themselves. I'm just running the fragmentation analyser now.
