Well...
I have decided to save up for the Radeon 8500 JB should be happy I thought why get a cheap card, with minimal permorance difference, just because I want it right away. Anyway 8500 it is $279 CND i got $100 bucks right now, so i'll be saving

If you're referring to the fact that it has 128MB memory that is for the most part a marketing gimmick
The 8500 will kick its ass

I heard someone saying something about preloaded levels, or somesuch, that you don't have to wait or something; but that's about it...and you can also play at 1600x1200 with 2xAA but you'd get like 2 fps so who would wnat to??

I usually go at 1024x768 or 1152x864 with 2xAA.

I notice that the 8500 has a fan on where will that plug into?
Also I have a sensor strip should I put that on the 8500?

Yep just get retail..it's worth it
If you're just gonna get OEM you're better off with a Gainward Ti200 as it will overclock higher, but a Retail 8500 will beat a Gainward Ti200, while both are OCed.

APC rated it highly.....not even sure about the fan part, had me confused as well.....Must be driven by power through the board as no extra plug ins required....or maybe just gets driven by the mainfan through the power unit

Saves me £60 (about $85) getting OEM rather than retail.....and I'm usually very careful with things like this...

When is the ATI 8800 coming out, I want the 8500 to be a lower price.
