XP and DivX
Hi all,
I have Windows XP, and every time I try to encode to DivX or MPEG 4 (using VirtualDub), the video file is in b&w and distorted, e.g. if you played an NTSC tape on a PAL video recorder.
Any advice?
Thanks

If you have Premiere with DivX installed, you can also make DivXs.

Probably it is not your software,
Try encoding it with Indeo 5.0 or something, if it is working then, it is the DIVx, go download the Divx Encode Patch 4.0 From the DIVx Digest website (go2 google, type in DIVx and it might be the forth one on the list) and it will fix it ( i guess ) good luck.
