If you're referring to the fact that it has 128MB memory that is for the most part a marketing gimmick

The 8500 will kick its ass

I heard someone saying something about preloaded levels, or somesuch, that you don't have to wait or something; but that's about it...and you can also play at 1600x1200 with 2xAA but you'd get like 2 fps so who would wnat to??

Yep just get retail..it's worth it

If you're just gonna get OEM you're better off with a Gainward Ti200 as it will overclock higher, but a Retail 8500 will beat a Gainward Ti200, while both are OCed.

    Ohh, a temp sensor

Yeah i have never installed one would most likely involve removal of heatsink which means void warranty but who cares

APC rated it highly.....not even sure about the fan part, had me confused as well.....Must be driven by power through the board as no extra plug ins required....or maybe just gets driven by the mainfan through the power unit

How do you do that then

Saves me £60 (about $85) getting OEM rather than retail.....and I'm usually very careful with things like this...
