Animation (Windowed mode)
Hey everyone i'm new to this forum and i'd like to ask you guys if anyone knows a good resource where i can find out how to do animation using directx and window mode not full screen.I've been using directx for almost 3 days now and kind of figured out how it works.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.......

Have a look in my Tile-Based GDI thread, it uses Direct X windowed mode,
animation support isn't in it yet, but its just a case of changing which graphic you blt when you want the new frame
Some Days, i just get this feeling that i'm helping to write dozens of Viruses...

Search Google (www.google.com) for "DirectX4Vb" and you'll get the correct site. It's an IP address so you have to know the IP or find a link. It is a great DirectX site, has won many awards, and helped me.
Should help you a great deal.

You can also access it indirectly:
http://www.vbexplorer.com/directx4vb/
It will take you to the IP.
