Royalty-free music
I'm making a video production where I actually can't violate copyright law. Is there a site that has royalty-free MP3s; i.e., meaning if I include them I don't violate copyright?

Everything on Mp3.com I thought... it's not piracy but maybe you can't reproduce them.
All contents of the above post that aren't somebody elses are mine, not the property of some media corporation.
(Just a heads-up)

what kind of music?
look for some old music, like beethoven or mozart type thing that is public domain.
also, you can get a lot of flash loops for free, would that work?

Flash loops might. Classic won't; one scene that I need a soundtrack for is somebody making cool shots in a basketball game. Smashmouth's "All Star" would have been perfect, but noooooooo...

You might want to look into using the cheesy, MIDI versions of All Star...it might suck, but you might be allowed...who knows...
You just proved that sig advertisements work.
