I know with list views you can set the .forecolor and change the colour of the text, but is there a way to change one row's text colour to something different than the rest of text.

I've just double checked, and it definately works.
What version of VB are you using, I'm using VB6 with SP3.

Worked it out, The reaon it wasn't working is that this app was originally designed in vb 6 sp2 and that doesn't let you do the above, and the actual controls are using the common ocx for sp2
