Thread: Problems with ActiveMovie Control

    Hi,

    i have some questions and problems about/with the ActiveMovie Control:

    1. There seem to be different versions of this control out. I found "6.00.02.0902", "6.4.07.1112" and "6.01.05.0217". With my Visual Basic 5 only "6.00.02.0902" works for my. With the other ones I get a Visual Basic System Error when I want to start the project. Why? Can the others only be used with VB6 or do I have some kind of bad windows installation because of that?

    2. Just saw a "msdxmlc.dll" in my windows/system dir. What's that? Do I need that for the .OCX control, too?

    3. I just wondered, where to get this ActiveMovie Control? With what product it is included? DirectX? Or the Internet Explorer? Was it already included with Win95? Should I include it to my compiled programs or can I expect that everyone have this?
