    How can I access the dafault images/icons that windows uses
    like the image for Create New Folder????

    I cheat...have a good icon extractor which saves as icon or bitmat and I extract what I want to use and use it.
    http://www.nonags.com has a good selection of freeware icon extractors...I use the one by Jone's Soft
