    I nearly finished my Treeview........

See the pic attached, it's 95% finished now, so expect the code pretty soon.....

    Any thoughts?

What does it do that VB's doesn't?

Is it easier to use? (That would be nice)

Multi-select nodes....now that would be cool.

And you can iterate through the selected nodes much the same way as iterating through a checked listbox or something like that? That would be very cool!

Whats left to do? You mentioned "the code" (my ears always perk up when I hear those words.)

Yep, it currently allows you to use the Shift and Control keys to multi select exactly the same as the listbox e.t.c....without glitches and hitches, and there will be a selected property to allow you to reference a "collection" of selected nodes to either copy, cut, or paste e.t.c e.t.c....I've just got to nail down a couple of behaviour problems, and it's done

Uses Subclassing and API in large amounts - but that never stopped you before eh

And yep, once i'm done shamelessly making sure that people know I was the one who wrote it i'll post the code....

    Good for you !!!!

Is this going to be just a code module, or are you creating a component that can be popped into a project?

I'm just going to do a class / dll that binds to a normal control.....kind of like a buddy property.

What with .NET coming out and all i'm not going to spend too much more time doing it, it was a labour of love from about a year ago...., spawned by a bet from someone I once knew "I bet you can't do" that he proclaimed when I said I was doing loads of API stuff.....

and lo and behold a year later....

Hey Mr. TreeView guru, do you know of anything that could help WokaWidget on this one?
