Everybody loathed Connex, no wonder it topped the complaints league

It is pretty amazing that it takes so long though! Would you wait for a car for two years? Red-tape and beauracracies triumph again!

I think this 2 years is due to the fact they have to build all 700 carriages...which probably won't be very easy.

Well, at least they're making an effort. It would be bloody good news if it actually came to fruition.
I find it hard to get too excited about this, though. Connex had hundreds of carriages on order which still aren't in service... and SE are using the same company to build theirs. Makes me worry that it will still never happen.
Mind you, I'd love to be proved wrong. The trains we've got at the moment... well, they're embarassing. We get tourists on ours going from the ferry at Newhaven up to London. You should see their faces when one of our trains rattles and shudders up to the platform.
Fingers crossed, Chris.
