    Cool

Does any one know of an activex plugin for netscape...
it's written on this site http://www.interstat.net/gargaro/browsers.html#js that an activex plugin exists.... with a link to it. But I can't seem to find it there either.

I've heard of it, tried to find it, it appears it's terribly unstable, doesnt support everything, and I think it may even be postponeded or discontinued, you do realize if it becomes a sucess, it'll hurt their C# release(which I think it stupid anyways) and It'll hurt the fact that people will use Netscape instead of IE, I am sure that Microsoft has some kind of patent that only allows Microsoft browsers, or microsoft development tools to decode ActiveX controls. Or something like that.

My boss was asking the same thing, he even wanted me to find out if I could embed an ActiveX into a Java applet (hehe)

tell me about it, I mean AOL owns them now, hehe, I would care less, but our main customer(the State) primary browser is Netscape 3.x( I mean god could they least gone with 4.x) in netscape the only way to call a javascript is through a button ot an anchor, which makes my job even harder even with only using client-side javascript, and server-side vbscript.

Exclamation Microsoft -> AOL -> Netscape

Doesn't AOL belong to microsoft? Maybe not, I'm not sure of but I swear I heard that somewhere... I mean if Netscape belongs to AOL and AOL to Microsoft... Why don't they do something about that damn activex support

I searched Netscape's Plugin Source and found one that supports ActiveX (supposedly?!). I'll be trying it out in the next week or two... keep you posted. Here's the link to the reference page if anyone else would like to give it a try as well:
