    Clob or Blob

    hi everyone,

I'm just wondering if Access 2000 can support character large objects(Clob) or binary large objects(Blob) data type. Can anyone please enlighten me?

I have to create a file(of any format) in VB. Thereafter the file has to be inserted/saved into a field of data type OLE Object. How can I do that using ADO coding?

Do i have to specify where the created file is before i can insert it into the OLE Object data type field?

I want to save files of any format to an Access 2000 file. I do not want the file to be saved to the hardisk. Is it possible to achieve that?

    Thanks for helping!
