    2+ Sounds (Wave or Midi) at the same time!

    Hi,

    Now I have another question:

    How can I play with DX 7/8 (or without) two or more sounds at the time? I want a Midi music in the background, and some effects (Wave) at the same time, how?

    Using DirectMusic, I believe you can choose to play the sound as primary or secondary. You can only have one primary sound playing at once, but as many secondary sounds as you want. Play your music as primary, and your sound effects as secondary.
