    Just wondering, is there going to be a VB 7 or is it this .Net thing??

    but dont get the mindset that is an upgrade from VB6 as it has been totally rewritten from the ground up and has alot of differences.

    Right - VB.NET is VB.NET version 1.0, not VB version 7.0.

    Are you sure?! I think it's VB7 which is called VB.NET, it's not VB.net version 1

    Well officially behind the scenes the version number is 7..but technically it is a new language so we refer to it as VB .NET 1
