DataFormat property on Label control...

...doesnt get applied automatically to the values i put in the caption field. Instead i have to look at the string next to the word "Format$" and then format the data myself as i enter it.

Why? Why doesnt it just format it itself?

well, i`ve selected `currency` in dataformat. 2 decimal places, so it should be

$1,234.56

according to the examples (and its a pound sign, not a dollar sign, but i`m not playing hunt-the-key now) and i entered 0 as a value in the caption field, and when the form appears it says 0.00 then when i change the value of the caption field to 50 it comes up as 50 and not $50.00
