Datalist extended matching delay time
When using extended matching on a datalist control, is there a way to change (i.e., reduce) the amount of time you have to wait before the control will flush its text buffer and reset its matching?
For example, in a list with all of the US states I type "neb" and the list matches "Nebraska". If I want to type something else I have to wait several seconds to keep the control from adding the newly typed characters to the end of the "neb" string the control is currently using as a matching criterion.
Thanks in advance,

How do you get the Datalist to match text
How do you get the datalist to match text?
Do you give the datalist focus and just start typing?
I have a datalist and I want it to match text that I type into a textbox. Is this possible?
Thanks,
John
