changing background colors in a frameset

Howdy!

i have a frameset document and when i click a link to load new content into the frame, it goes white until the page loads.

is there a way to make the frameset have a bgcolor?

sounds like you have a background image on the page you are waiting for to load. If you set bgcolor as well as background on that page, it should show the colour whilst loading.

i don't have a bg image i'm loading.....

i do have a bg color in the page i'm loading but i'm wondering if i can specifie a bg color in my frames document.

is this possible?

<frame name ="main" bgcolor="red">
or something like that?
