Ironing - How Do You Do Yours

OK - I believe in the 'Iron - on - demand' principle . . . except that means that packing a suitcase means I spend hours at the ironing board . . . .

    Give me your views . . . .

OK then, let's have some honesty here...Who irons their underpants?
Everything I say is either loose interpretation of dubious facts or idle speculation rooted in irrational sentiment.

i do the iron on demand thing, at least when noone else is doing it...

You have to be clever to do something, but it takes genius to get some else to do it instead

    My wife irons on demand.

And life is too short to iron underpants, socks and stuff.

    Bonker doesn't iron

Shirts: after washing place in tumble drier for about 45 seconds, hang up on coat hangers to finish drying. The result is as good as ironing.

Pant and Socks: why do people iron these?

Trousers and ties: I sometimes iron these.

Well, you never know when you're going to in public with no trousers...

One must look one's best, after all.

I saw a great cartoon a few years ago:

Little boy sitting on what's obviously a hospital trolley in the Casualty, in his undies. He's on the phone: "Hey Mum, the clean undies finally paid off!"
