Smile Little bit o' help here...?

OK, I have made a program called Target Practice (see other posts), and I need to put a cool intro into it. I have found the flash player control, and put it onto my form, but HOW ON EARTH can I get it to play off the harddrive (the file is in the same dirrectory as the project files). I can get it to play off the internet, but I don't want it to do that....HELP

i'm not sure what you need to do to acheive this, but you can definatly make exe's of your flash cartoons, coz i've downloaded some before.

    they run stand-alone.

haha it seems like programmers here are to arrogant for controls
Well try not to use to many unneeded controls since the user needs to have them to run your program. (still can use this one... just saying.. )

well and watch out that your intro is not better than the actual program

    Talking

Haha I did not mean to be cocky

well it seems like you are discovering all off vb at the moment so why don't you just learn about how to show your own little animation in VB without using controls

as always www.ur.co.nz could help with the BitBlt tutorials if you don't know about it yet

and I haven't seen you game so my comment on the intro is not implying anything!

You just set the file parameter! It's always worked for me! At run-time, set the file to App.Path & "\intro.swf".
All contents of the above post that aren't somebody elses are mine, not the property of some media corporation.
    (Just a heads-up)

Don't get me started on BitBit...

And as for Sastraxi's comment: I KNOW! It doesn't work for me, it doesn't load or play the into at all! That is why I need help (both on this and mentally )

If you think I did something wrong, please give me the code that you use, and I will try that (knowng me there will probably be around 90 mistakes in there.... )

    Thanks neways, guys!

I dunno, it is just a pain to have to get each and every picture perfectly lined up, or it goes wonky, (I can show you failed examples of THAT if you want!)
