Saving contents of a picture box as GIF
Hi
my application copies the contents of several picture boxes into another, based on user input. something like taking portions of a map that a user wants.
but when i save the contents of the result picbox using savepicture, file size is too big. is there a way to save it as a GIF file?
i saw the intel jpeg utility. but i am interested in the GIF as the file size is smaller in GIF.
thanx in advance for the anybody who helps.

Good Ol' Platypus
Try a search on Google for a Gif Saving ActiveX or DLL. I find it usually returns relevant results.
All contents of the above post that aren't somebody elses are mine, not the property of some media corporation.
(Just a heads-up)
