I started coding my own shell and didn't find a design, and coz I also like Star Trek I decided to make it LCARS style.
Since I'm not that bad in VB I'll make the whole coding part by myself. So I could only need designers or sound makers (for the cool LCARS noise )
However, if you are interested to help me just send a mail or contact my by ICQ...

Hello Fox,
As a mater of fact, Knight hasn't stopped developement, in fact he's expanded. He and I have been collaborating, which has turned into a full blown partnership, and from that partnership has come the new http://stengineer.com along with our current development of the LCARS Operating System Shell Version 3.0 So if you'd like to help in this project try getting in touch with us before posting like this.

Yea, PLEASE retract what you said.. It ticks me off when someone says I am doing something that i'm not!
WE ARE still working on this project and you have NOT SEEN me stop working on this project! What in the world made you write this??? I NEVER gave you ANY hint that the LCARS project stopped!

Ok, you're absolutely right.
And I'm so sorry about that. I've seen you old website down and there was no word about the new one, so I really thought you stopped the project.
I don't want to start a war here, it was my mistake to pretend that you stopped the project!
You should know that I really like your project, that's why I started my own (after I thought that you stopped it). A new shell is a good idea and make it LCARS is even better!
...as someone said "Can't we just be friends?" -I hope so.

Yes, I would like to test your shell out when it's finished.. and after ours is done (Not too much longer now) we will need a couple of beta testers to check it out..

You can have my LCARS button control if you want Fox, it's on my homepage

writing software in C++ is like driving rivets into steel beam with a toothpick.
writing haskell makes your life easier:
reverse (p (6*9)) where p x|x==0=""|True=chr (48+z): p y where (y,z)=divMod x 13
To throw away OOP for low level languages is myopia, to keep OOP is hyperopia. To throw away OOP for a high level language is insight.
