VB makes programming with DB's complicated.....and the help files are crap.
Reality is an illusion caused by by lack of drugs
Is this real or am i just having a dream?

I disagree, I think VB makes DB programming easy. I don't know why you've come to that conclusion, but everyones got their own opinions.
I learnt how to use DB's with VB through the Help only, (VB5, DAO and RDO) as I found it gave good examples. Must admit the help for ADO (VB6) wasn't as good though.

you will hardly find an easier enviroment for good and stable database programming then VB. maybe you should concider buying a book sooner or later to get started. i am not 100% sure that learning from helpfiles only is the best (and fastest) way of geting into a programming language.
good luck

I haven't done much with db's. But from what i learned it seems pretty simple stuff, so i would have to dissagree Harrild.
