How do I make a thumbnail?
I have a series of pictures (of the heart) that I want to put into
thumbnail size for future inclusion on a form.
I want to place about 6-12 of these on the form. After the
placement, the form will be used as a worksheet for physicians
who read cardiac NMRI (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Imaging).
The ultimate size will need to be about 1' x 1', will be black and
white and schematic in nature.
Where do I start?

Use a tool like PaintShop Pro, and resize them.
If it's to be a website page, there is a wizard in FrontPage XP that will do the whole gallery, including the thumbnails.
Alternatively, there are any number of utilities that will do this for you. Try a search on ZiffNet, or a general search engine.
