Guitar Freaks (like me)/Radiohead Fans
Jonny Greenwood is always talking about "rewiring" his guitars. Does anyone out there know what that actually means?

Putting special pickups on the guitar ?
... or the obvious to restring it ...

It's got something to do with altering the pickups (ie: opening them up and messing around with the wires inside). I think it gives the guitar a thicker, more intense sound.

I don't think one opens the pickups, but rather replaces them ...

Possibly - when you've got enough money as Jonny Greenwood you can afford to **** up an instrument
