Haven't been watching, figured we weren't gonna win anything therefore no importance in it. Gee the Canadians actually do believe its all fair in the Olympics, does the word naive hold no meaning for them.

So whats next, the Aussie hockey team wins cause all the other teams come down with the crabs or something

Ice Dream is Roy and HG and so is nothing about sport just piss taking on the whole thing... eg commentating the 2 man luge and saying that they communicate by flexing and relaxing their butt muscles.

Anyhow, the weather reports... they have a cam set up out in the snow, get an average american vistor, give them a pointer and have a board with the map of Australia on it. They put Tasmania in a different spot each night and rearrange all of the cities None of them ever cotton on to it... and the yanks even try to add knowledgeable comments.. lol

    Ah, the Ice dream.

I still want to find out how many people (around the world) really care that much about the winter olympics.
Seems to be alot more... erm.... arty 'sports' and some of them ones where you don't really do much, like the long-jump on skis.

All these snow sports just seem to be the sort of thing only someone with alot of money can even get into, let alone excel at.
Much like the equestrian, in regular olympics...

I noticed snowboarding made it in - expect to see Tony Hawk (skateboarding) in Greece.

Cool..when is Roy and HG on...

    Can just imagine it.

Roy: Why are you wearing a floral shirt in sub zero conditions

Seppo: Well we knida thought Salt Lake City was in Florida

HG: So have you ever seen a map of Tasmania

Seppo: Hell yes, last year we visited Australia, nice country and so close to Germany.

Ok first of all i believe that Canada should have won that firugre skating thing. If it had even been close then i would have accepted losing gracefully but, to even my untrained eye Canada obviously won. Canada skated a flawless preformence whilst the Russians made a few obvious mistakes. Then after an investigation it is discovered that it was rigged (suprise suprise is figure skateing for god sakes). Personally i think that figure skating should be taken out of the olympics till a better way of judging is introduced.

If there is one sport that i want Canada to win a gold in it is hockey. We have had the best team in the world for quite a while yet we never seem to be able to pull through. Plus we invented the game so we should win in it just kidding although the US dream team seems to kick alot of ass in the summer olympics.

Good morning parksie...leave you in charge of dragging every thread into the gutter and look what happens

Now have the perfect excuse for being the last one into work, er would have rushed, but wanted to avoid any accidents in the lift. Don't thank me, l'm just that sort of guy, always putting it on the line for the good of the company.

Then of course l'll break into the company song

    "We work all day
    For very little pay
    So the Directors can play
And sit on their fat arses all day"

May have added a new verse there l think.

Forget training for the next games... we need to work out methods of sabotaging other competitors in every winter olympic sport... hmmm loose fitting skis, wobbly curling stones, brake less luges .. come on guys.. we can win them all if we put our heads together!!

hmmm then Canada would just have to employ some counter sabatoge crap. hmmmm oh i got it, Canada could give out free drinks to all the athletes of the other countries as a sign of "friendship" anyways the drinks are all spiked with steroids! haha i can just see the headlines "98% of the athletes are on sterioids!" or "Canada: the only honest country" or "Canada wins every medal by default". hehe

well, actually i am really not embarressed about any olympian ( I take what i said earlier back) however i am dissapointed, Wootherspoon was a favorite to win the gold in that event and having trained for a very long time all to trip over the starting line is dissapointing.

Yeah we had the same thing with that Olympic sprint cyclist... emm forget his name now.. was far and away favourite to win gold in a canter and yet kicked out of the pedals at the starting line... but he took it graciously .. only months later did he kill 5 members of the coach's famly

Can just imagine the new Canadian school sport slogan

    "Just say yes to drugs"

    BB

Also happened to the ex-seppo female bike rider. At starting block she pushes off and her foot comes off the pedal. Being a good sort, she immediatly blamed Cycling Australia for giving her shonky equipment, sacked her coach, and stormed out of the games village. Wonder if Ruddock has her address.

Doing a Bradbury...will no doubt come into vogue...as in damn l forgot to cancel my automatic lottery picks, and look at that l won a million...You lucky lucky bastard, bit of a Bradbury there mate

They had the bloke on radio today saying that part of his gameplan was to hang back, and hope someone stacked it, and he could sneak in for bronze. Apparently, someone stacks it in just about every race. But when they all stacked it and he won, he crossed the line, and a few seconds later thought: "**** me. I won. "

Never saw a gold medal winner looking so surprised.
"Whassat ? Gold medal ? Me ? Pull the other one mate, it got a bell on it"
And then you saw him thinking "Bugger, what excuse am I going to cook up now ? The stay-safely-in-the-back-strategy ? Mmmmm, sounds great, let's stick with that."

lol yeah .. on the news tonite they said that the U.S commentators were complaining vehemently that the race should be rerun and that the referee was australian therefore it was a setup... odd things tho are that this is the same referee that dudded the australian skate team out of a previous medal

and most fittingly... the american competitor is in crutches and would lose his silver if the race was rerun
