    frames of video

    how can i get individual frames of a video file....mpeg or avi it doesn't matter.I want to be able to have the pixel color values in hex saved to a text file or variable

    ok new plan...I want to take each frame and send it using winsock as a jpeg, is there any way to get a frame and save it as a jpeg?
