Compiler Help
I have windows XP and when i try to install the SDK1.2.3 i think it is. i get a error and then the installer freezes and i have downloaded it 3 time and im still getting the error can anyone help me?

You can try skipping doing stuff in the command line by using JBuilder; it comes with its own JDK and compiling is done in the IDE.

What is better Jbuilder or Visual J++

J++ is not for true Java, so you can't really compare the two. Personally I don't like JBuilder because it's so godawful slow and sometimes buggy; right now I use JCreator LE and when I want the popup list thingies I use JBuilder. So at school I use JCreator LE and at home and occasionally at work JBuilder.

Go and download JBuilder6. It's pretty good, just remember to keep the package at the top of each class. JBuilder gets very upset if you delete it.
